Yoga Class

8:00am ‐ 9:00am
Start the day off right with a free yoga class led by Citizen Yoga. Participants must bring their own yoga mat and towel. All levels welcomed.

Live Mural Painting

8:00am ‐ 6:00pm
Watch as muralist Sheefy McFly creates a one-of-a-kind work of art as part of the Small Business Murals Project, an initiative led by the Quicken Loans Community Fund and 1xRun.

105.1 The Bounce

Check out the Bounce 105.1 tent to see what’s happening with Detroit’s premiere throwback hip-hop and R&B radio station.

Sneaker Origami Station

The shoe experts at StockX will be on hand for some fun arts and crafts, helping kids craft unique sneaker origami.

’90s Airbrush Photo Station

Stop by our selfie station to snap a picture with your friends. Whether you’re from the westside, the eastside, or just proud of Detroit, we’ve got a backdrop for you.

Neighbor To Neighbor

Find out if you qualify for property tax assistance through the City of Detroit, HP – TAP program and the Quicken Loans Community Fund sponsored property tax exemption workshops.

Toomka Bollywood Workout

Get your heart pumping and have fun with Bollywood Fitness, an invigorating workout that’s inspired by Bollywood-style dance and led by expert instructor Suman Desaraju.

Detroit Outdoors Campsite

Learn about the joys of the great outdoors from the experts at Detroit Outdoors who will be sharing camping demos and much more.

Free Archery Lessons

Learn archery from Elite Archery Academy. This is a first come, first serve opportunity and space is limited. Participants must sign a liability waiver and complete a 60-minute training session.

Hula Hoop Station

See how long you can keep your hoop in the air at the Hula Hoop station.

Arts and Crafts Station

Enjoy arts and crafts courtesy of Arts and Scraps.

Giant Games Station

Challenge your friends to chess, Connect 4, or Giant Jenga at our games station.

Pony Rides at Buffalo Solidiers Heritage Stables

12:00pm ‐ 5:00pm
Learn about the history of the Buffalo Soldiers and enjoy a pony ride under the supervision of the Buffalo Soldiers Heritage Stables. The first 100 pony rides are FREE! 

Good Cakes and Bakes

Good Cakes and Bakes will be onhand to provide quality, wholesome, and organic baked goods.

Milk and Froth

Milk & Froth is driving around Detroit spreading happiness in the form of cold creamy treats. Waffle cones made fresh onboard. Vegans welcome.

The Lobster Food Truck

After working across the United States, Chef Nick Wilson is back in his hometown to share his famous lobster rolls, lobster mac and cheese, and more!

Jackson’s Five Star Motown Bistro

Hustle Dance Lessons by Mr. Smooth

House Music Set

Traditional Mexican Dance Showcase

Celebrate Detroit’s Mexican community with Ballet Folklorico De Detroit, a community group of dancers who dedicate their time, passion and talent to showcase traditional dances and preserve Mexican culture.

African Dance & Drum Performance

Be inspired by the rhythms of Africa while you listen to the P.A.T.H African Drum and Dance Collective.

Larry Lee and the Back in the Day Band

Dance to the sounds of Larry Lee and the Back in the Day Band. Their high-energy music and funky sound electrifies audiences and is guaranteed to have you groovin.

Detroit JIT Tribute

Dance culture in Detroit wouldn’t be complete without the Jit. Join DJ Nick Speed and Hardcore Detroit for this special tribute to Detroit Jit, the dance that defines Detroit.

Flint Eastwood

4:00pm ‐ 4:45pm
Enjoy the music of Flint Eastwood, an alt-pop project based around the work of Detroit singer/songwriter Jax Anderson, who has built a reputation for her uncompromising style and high energy.


5:00pm ‐ 6:00pm
Close out the night with SWV, aka Sisters with Voices, the Grammy-award nominated female R&B trio known for its platinum hits including: “Weak”, “Right Here/Human Nature”, “I’m So Into You”.

Location & Parking

Detroit Out Loud will be held at the beautiful Rouge Park on Detroit’s west side. The largest green space in the city, Rouge Park boasts 1,300 acres of space and a wide range of activities for the entire family.

Where to find Detroit Out Loud:
The entrance to Detroit Out Loud is located off the corner of Joy Road and Lahser Road. Please note there is no parking available onsite and that parts of Joy road will be closed to through traffic. Guests should be aware of traffic congestion due to these closings.

Free Park and Ride Shuttle Service:
Location: Detroit World Outreach Church, 23800 W Chicago, Redford Charter Twp, MI 48239
Time: 7:30am-6:30pm
Shuttles run every 15 minutes and are ADA accessible shuttles
Mobility assistance will also be available once onsite at the Detroit Out Loud event.
